| SUNBATHERS • Both of the Sunbathers are lifesize sculptures modelled in clay. Sunbather 2 (first photo) was caste in white concrete. Sunbather 1 only made it to the clay model stage which I was lucky to get photographs of, thanks to Rod Brown. A day or so after the mold was finished the bench carrying it collapsed, destroying the mold and pulverizing the clay model. All was lost in a heap of rubble, I now use tougher benches. |
