Bernice Davies - porcelain kiss sculpture

KISS • This sculpture is porcelain, slip caste from a very basic mould and then altered by cutting, adding, modelling. Underglaze colours were used on the hair and lips. I made a series of sculptures by playing around with the same basic mold, using a range of different clays for colour and texture.
