Bernice Davies - lifesize female sculpture

BREEZE • Breeze is a lifesize figurative sculpture, modelled in clay and caste in ciment fondue (a high alumina cement which is as hard as cast iron). The top photograph was taken by Rod Brown of the clay model. The next photos were taken immediately after the caste came off, before she'd been patched up. This sculpture (plus a smaller figure) was stolen from a friend's house on The Hill in Newcastle a couple of years ago, a real shame as I had intended to keep her.
