Bernice Davies - ciment fondue - bomb

BOMB • Modelled in clay and caste in ciment fondue, the bomb sculpture has three tortuous faces carved in relief around its base. I used black ciment fondue mixed with fine sand for the casting. Ciment fondue is a high allumina cement, as hard as cast-iron, able to pick up thumbprint detail.
